The first step is to ask for help. If you believe you may have
symptoms of psychosis, or any of the symptoms associated with any
of the disorders mentioned, you should talk to your family, friends,
counsellor or doctor. Don't feel ashamed, or try to deal with
this on your own. Ask questions and accept help. With treatment,
most people recover from a first episode of psychosis.
Don't wait to ask for help. Everyone needs help at some time
in his or her life and you will recover faster with the proper type
of support and intervention.
